Gardena Water Timer SelectControl

The Gardena 1885 SelectControl water timer comes with useful preprogramed irrigation settings for five typical planted areas: lawns, useful plants, hedges, potted plants and flower beds. The Water Computer makes garden irrigation a breeze whether you are using sprinklers or a drip irrigation system like Gardena’s Micro-Drip-System or Sprinkler system. It reliably controls irrigation and you can easily modify its presets if your requirements vary from those settings.

This means you can entirely forget about watering your plants daily or during your vacation time. The control panel can be conveniently removed for easy settings adjustments and the easy to read LCD screen displays your selection of settings such as the day of the week, frequency of watering, etc. Once you have programed those settings, the computer takes control of your watering routine with precision. All you have to do now is enjoy yourself! Your EasyControl unit will operate reliably for about one year on a 9 V alkaline battery (not included) and a low battery alert will be displayed when it’s time to replace it. Optional, you can also attach a Rain Sensor or Soil Moisture Sensor to the Water Computer so that it knows not to irrigate when it rains or if the soil is already moist enough, allowing you to save valuable water resources. The Moisture Sensor tests the moisture level at night and starts irrigation if the soil is dry.
